Overview
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device on future visits, store preferences, and collect information about your browsing.
In this policy, the term "cookies" includes similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons, local storage, session storage, tracking tags, and device identifiers.
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies for:
- Ensure essential website functionality (security, preferences, language);
- Remember your choices and personalize your experience;
- Understand how visitors use the Site through statistical analysis;
- Measure the effectiveness of B2B marketing campaigns;
- Prevent fraud and automated attacks.
3. Cookie categories we use
CCX website cookies are classified into four main categories, detailed in the following sections:
- Essential: indispensable to website functionality. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: help us understand website usage to improve the experience.
- Marketing: support campaign measurement and B2B retargeting.
- Functionality: personalize preferences and improve user comfort.
4. Consent
On your first visit to the Site, we display a cookie consent banner. Essential cookies are activated automatically as they are necessary for operation. Analytics, marketing, and functionality cookies are only activated after your explicit consent.
You may change your preferences at any time through the cookie banner (floating icon in the footer) or your browser settings. Consent is renewed every 12 months.
LGPD & GDPR
We respect both the General Data Protection Law (Brazil) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU). Visitors from EU/EEA territories only have non-essential cookies activated after explicit opt-in; visitors from Brazil have the same level of control.
Essential
Essential cookies
Cookies strictly necessary for website functionality. Without them, basic features such as security, language preference, and consent memory do not work correctly. Being indispensable, they do not depend on prior consent and cannot be disabled via banner.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
csrf_token | Protection against CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) attacks | Session |
lng | Language preference (pt-BR / en) | 1 year |
cookie_consent | Record of visitor cookie preferences | 1 year |
ccx_session | Session maintenance during browsing | Session |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare — anti-bot protection and rate limiting | 30 days |
Why they cannot be disabled
These cookies are necessary for the security of your browsing, protection of the website against attacks, and compliance with legal obligations (such as recording your consent). They do not collect personal data for marketing purposes nor build behavioral profiles.
Disabling through your browser
If you block all cookies at the browser level, some website features may stop working — especially forms, language preferences, and consent banner persistence.
Analytics
Analytics cookies
They allow us to understand how visitors interact with the Site — pages visited, time spent, traffic source, navigation flow, bounce rates. Aggregated data helps us improve content and experience. They are activated only after your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguish unique users | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Maintain session state and events | 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics | Distinguish users during the session | 24 hours |
_gat_* | Google Analytics | Limit request rate | 1 minute |
How we use analytics data
- Identify most accessed pages and most relevant content;
- Understand visitor journey (entry, navigation, conversion);
- Detect technical issues and optimize performance;
- Plan editorial strategy for blog and service pages;
- Measure campaign effectiveness and acquisition channels.
Anonymization & retention
We configure Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP (IP masking), without sharing data with other Google products for cross-site advertising purposes. The default retention is 26 months, after which data is automatically aggregated and anonymized.
Google Analytics Opt-out
In addition to managing through our banner, you can install the official Google Analytics Opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/
Marketing

Limitations
CCX does not use marketing cookies for: (a) building sensitive profiles, (b) automated decision-making with significant effects, (c) selling data to third-party advertisers, (d) marketing directed at minors. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control mechanisms when technically available.
You are in control
You can disable all marketing cookies at any time via the preferences banner. You can also choose to receive less personalized communications in the settings of each platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Google).
Functionality
Functionality cookies
Store visitor preferences to enhance experience — visual theme (light/dark), preferred region, filters applied to content lists, and other non-essential personalizations to site operation.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
theme | Theme preference (light/dark/system) | 1 year |
region | Preferred content region | 6 months |
cases_filter | Filters applied in Cases listing | Session |
blog_filter | Filters applied in Blog | Session |
nav_state | Menu state (expanded/collapsed) | Session |
Impact of disabling
Disabling these cookies does not prevent use of the Site, but you lose personalization. Upon returning, your preferences will need to be reconfigured.
We do not share with third parties
Functionality cookies are set only by CCX's own domain. We do not send this data to third parties nor cross it with marketing identifiers.
Local storage & session storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser local/session storage to temporarily store preferences and unsent form data (preventing loss in case of accidental refresh). This data never includes credentials or sensitive information.
